Looking for a comprehensive list of the best pickleball podcasts worth listening to and watching? Consider this your guide to the best pickleball podcasts this side of the Kitchen.
Listen, I’ve got to keep it real. I’m going to list these in the order of my favorites. After-all, you’ve come here to get my take, right? p.s. The Sunday Dinking Club podcast (my podcast) is making the top of the list.
Sunday Dinking Club
Hosted by yours truly (“Downtown” Logan Brown), my goal is to give pickleball fans a quick way to keep up with the top news happening in Pickleball each week. Every now and then I’ll bring on an interesting guest to mix things up and bring in a new point of view.
The Pickleball Studio
You can listen to the Pickleball Studio guys on Spotify or any podcast medium, but they’re best consumed on Youtube. As the name points out, they’ve got solid camera/studio setups and both Chris and Will know what’s up when it comes to Pickleball.
The Tyson MCguffin show
Tyson’s got the best podcast out of all of the pros right now. In my opinion, he’s talking about all of the hot topics and his studio set up is top-notch, which makes watching more enjoyable.
The downside? Episodes can run a little long, but he does include chapters so you can skip ahead to the content you’re most interested in.
the picklepod
Hosted by owner of the Dink, Thomas Shields and pro pickleball player, Zane Navratil, you can expect great guests, hot topics and inside baseball pickleball.
tennis sucks podcast
Hosted by co-owners of the Major League Pickleball team, Florida Smash. Travis Rettenmaier (top 20 pickleball pro) and Graham D’Amico bring a fun spin to the world of pickleball podcasts. They’re not afraid to dish out hot takes and talk about how the sport could improve. They also record courtside (at a local park?), which is unique and different.
the james ignatowich show
As of May 2023, James is a top 5 singles player and top 20 men’s + mixed doubles player. He’s crushing it on the PPA and MLP tour and bringing weekly content to the ‘Tube and wherever you listen to your podcasts. His show is normally shorter than others (around 30 min.) which is great if you want to keep up with what’s happening on the pro tour in jiffy.
The Drop
You can’t go wrong when Anna Bright and Dylan Frazier take the court. Much less when they take to the mic each week for a mixed doubles partnership we only get to experience on a podcast. These are two pros at the top of their game and at the top of the pro ranks.
Inside major league pickleball
Okay, listen to one podcast and tell me Michelle McMahon’s voice is not THE BEST voice for radio and TV. Michelle, if you’re reading this, let’s link up and do a podcast episode together.
Pickle Juice Pod
Follow Zook and Johnny5pointOH on Twitter and give their podcast a listen. They’re super dialed into the scene and will give you some great insights into what’s happening on the pro scene.
it feels right
Hosted by two pickleball pros, Rob Nunnery and Adam Stone, you’ll get a unique perspective into what’s happening throughout the pro pickleball scene each week.
briones pickleball podcast
I don’t know much about Jordan Briones, but the dudes been creating pickleball content on Youtube for a long time (as far as pickleball content goes). He’s got some solid episodes that are worth a listen. Thumb through his Youtube account.
Alright, if you’re looking to nerd out on all things pickleball, these podcasts and youtube channels should get you going. If you discover any others that deserve to be on the list, ping your boy and I’ll give them a listen (or watch).
Please be sure to subscribe to the newsletter and Youtube channel. And if you like what I’m building here, don’t hesitate to share it with your entire pickleball group. Thanks 👍.
